Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(B4096 Alcester Road, Burcot)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of B4096 Alcester Road, Burcot from its junction with Pikes Pool Lane to its junction with Hollow Tree Lane in order to facilitate railway bridge repairs and maintenance works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4096 Hewell Lane, B4184 Foxlydiate Roundabout/Brockhill Drive, B4184 Birchfield Road, B4184 Bromsgrove Highway, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A38 Birmingham Road, A38 Lickey End Roundabout and B4096 Alcester Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (21:00hrs - 06:00hrs) Commencing: 19July2017.
(Rigby Lane, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of Rigby Lane, Redditch from its junction with
Chaucer Road to its junction with Drummond Road in order to facilitate footway reconstruction and kerb replacementworks.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Chaucer Road, Rigby Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days Commencing: 24 July 2017.
(C2004 Shaw Lane, Dodderhill)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2004 Shaw Lane, Dodderhill from its junction
with Astwood Lane to its junction with Church Lane in order to facilitate Network
Rail works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2204 Stoke Road, M5 junction 5 to junction 6 onto slip road, A38 Motorway junction, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Redditch Road, B4091 Hanbury Road, C2004 Shaw Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights Commencing: 24 July 2017.
(C2253 Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2253 Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove from its junction with A448 The Strand to its junction with A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass in order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A448 Stratford Road, A448 The
Strand and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days (within a 4 week period) Commencing: 27 July 2017.
(Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) and (Ednall Lane and Old Station Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Suspension of One-Way) Order 2017 Order made: to temporarily close Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove from its junction with Old Station Road to its junction with Station Street.
The Order will temporary suspend that part of The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Crescent, Old Station Road and Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove)(One-Way
Traffic) Order 1996 item 3 of the Schedule relating to Old Station Road and item 4 of the Schedule relating to Ednall Lane to allow traffic to travel in both direction for the duration of the works.
The Order is being made to facilitate Western Power works.
Alternative route:- Old Station Road, Bant Mill Road, B4184 New Road and The
Crescent.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 30 June 2017.
(C2002 St Kenelms Pass, Clent)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of C2002 St Kenelms Pass, Clent from its junction
with Clatterbach Lane to its junction with Walton Hill Lane in order to facilitate
drainage works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2002 St Kenelms Pass, C2002 Chapel Lane, C2002 St Kenelms
Pass, B4551 Bromsgrove Road, B4551 Money Lane, A491 Sandy Lane, A491 Stourbridge Road, C2003 Bromsgrove Road, C2002 Church Avenue and C2002 Vine Lane. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days Commencing:
3 July 2017.
Worcestershire County Council (Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of Limited Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Groveley Lane, Cofton Hackett]
On 15 June 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of
which will be to impose prohibition of waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Cofton Hackett:
Groveley Lane (south side) from a point 70.9 metres east of its junction with B4096 Barnt Green Road roundabout for a distance of 7.9 metres in an easterly direction.
Revoke Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 2 hours Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm:-
Groveley Lane, (north side) from its junction with Chestnut Drive for a distance of 302 metres in an easterly direction.
Revoke Restriction of Waiting Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm:-Groveley Lane (south side) from its junction with Chestnut Drive for a distance of 296 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 29 June 2017.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Bromsgrove District Council, Customer Service Centre, Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove, Worcs., B61 8DA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
