(B4206 Henwick Road, Henwick Level Crossing, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of B4206 Henwick Road, Henwick Level Crossing, Worcester, from a point 20 metres either side of the level crossing in order to facilitate Network Rail works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Outbound Diversion: – B4206 Henwick Road, A443 Hylton Road, A44 New Road, A44 Bull Ring, B4206 Henwick Road.
Inbound Diversion: – B4206 Henwick Road, A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge Street, A443 Hylton Road and B4206 Henwick Road. Footway Diversion: B4206 Henwick Road, U54185 Ingles Drive, F50507/U54146 Lapal Close, U54138 Comer Road, U54140 Comer Avenue and F50234/ U54164 Westbourne Close.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (23:00hrs - 05:00hrs) Commencing: 24 June2017. (C2068 Wichenford)(Temporary Closure)

Order made: to close that part of C2068 Wichenford from its junction with C2068 Ockeridge to its junction with C2243 Wichenford in order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2243 Wichenford, C2243 Horne Lane, B4197 Hillside, C2068 Hockhams Lane, C2068 Ockeridge and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 28 June 2017. (C2072 Hope Lane/Hollybush Lane, Clifton upon Teme)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2072 Hope Lane/ Hollybush Lane, Clifton upon Teme from its junction with B4204 The Village to its junction with the Herefordshire County Boundary in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2072 Hollybush Lane, B4203 (Herefordshire County), B4204 The Village to Herefordshire, B4204 The Village and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (within a 2 week period). Commencing: 26 June 2017. (B4197 Hipplecote, Martley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of B4197 Hipplecote, Martley from its junction with Easinghope Lane to its junction with Green Berrow in order to facilitate tree felling works to clear away from power cables. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Berrow Green, Easinghope Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 22 June 2017. Report of Local Government Ombudsman on complaint of injustice The Local Government Ombudsman has issued a report following her investigation of a complaint against Worcestershire County Council. The complaint was about a Nursing Home placement. The Ombudsman found that there had been fault on the part of the Council and this had caused injustice to the complainant. Worcestershire County Council has agreed to take action which the Ombudsman regards as providing a satisfactory remedy for the complaint. Copies of the report will be available for public inspection during normal office hours at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester. WR5 2NP and at The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester. WR1 3PB for three weeks starting on 22nd June 2017 . Anyone is entitled to take copies of the report or extracts from it. Copies will be supplied at a reasonable charge.
