NEW FOREST DISTRICT COUNCIL TEMPORARYROAD CLOSURE ALEXANDRA ROAD FORDINGBRIDGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority,Hampshire County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow gas main replacement and service connection works to be carried out, as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED
That length of Alexandra Road Fordingbridge between its junction with Whitsbury Road and its junction with C148 Salisbury Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
From the eastern point of closure, south via Salisbury Road to its junction with Park Road; west via Park Road to its junction with Whitsbury Road; north via Whitsbury Road to the western point of closure and vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE:From 10th July 2017 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2weeks.)
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
