NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL FOOTPATH CS4 DIVERSION ORDER 2017
The above order was made on 14 June 2017 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the order will be to divert a length of Footpath CS4 in the parish of Central Swindon South, commencing at OS grid reference SU18857 81864 at Badbury Wick, 56 metres ENE of Day House Lane, leading NE for 70 metres to OS grid reference SU18874 81829, continuing NE for 61 metres to OS grid reference SU18897 81985, 60 metres SW of the Liddington parish boundary at the perimeter of the Great Western Hospital grounds, on to a line running from OS grid reference SU18857 81864 at Badbury Wick, 56 metres ENE of Day House Lane, leading generally eastward for 148 metres to OS grid reference SU18992 81889, then NW for 137 metres to OS grid reference SU18897 81985, 60 metres SW of the Liddington parish boundary at the perimeter of the Great Western Hospital grounds.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map, costing £15.00, may be purchased there. Any representations about, or objections to, the order may be sent in writing, to the Rights of Way Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Highways and Transport, 4th floor Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon SN1 2JH, not later than 14 July 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Swindon Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
