Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4216, New Street, Ledbury , Temporary Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4216, New Street, Ledbury, from the junction with Oaklands Drive to outside The Elms. Grid Ref: 370691 / 237301 to 370499 / 237153. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via The Southend onto Leadon Way and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st of June 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
