Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Durrington) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Durrington) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2003 and The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Durrington) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2003 (Amendment No. 1) Order 2012 and re-enact them, in part, in the above Order and to introduce No Waiting at any time on the following lengths of
roads: Avondown Road -both sides -from its junction with Bulford Road for adistance
of 12 metres in an easterly direction; Bulford Road - both sides - from apoint 30 metres south of the centreline of its northern junction with Avondown Road for adistance of 30 metres in asoutherly direction; Bulford Road - west side -i)from apoint in line with the common boundary of property Nos. 107 and 109 Bulford Road in asoutherly direction to apoint in line with the northern boundary of property No. 103 Bulford Road ii) from the centreline of its junction with
College Road for adistance of 12 metres in anortherly direction; Bulford Road -east side -from apoint 14 metres south of its junction with Coronation Road to apoint 16 metres south of the centreline of its northern junction with Avondown Road; Clover
Lane - both sides - from its junction with High Street for adistance of 12 metres in a
westerly direction; College Road -both sides -from its junction with Bulford Road for adistance of 12 metres in awesterly direction; Meads Road -east side -from apoint
15 metres north of the centreline of Coronation Road for adistance of 5metres in a
northerly direction; New Road -south side -from its junction with Bulford Road for a
distance of 30 metres in awesterly direction; Poores Road - north side - from its junction with Bulford Road fir adistance of 13 metres in awesterly direction; Poores Road - south side - from its junction with Bulford Road for adistance of 7metres in awesterly direction. These restrictions will replace any existing restrictions currently in force in the Town of Durrington. Copies of the draft Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Durrington Library, 75 Bulford Road, Durrington between the hours of 10am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 10am to 1pm Saturday until 17 July 2017. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to revoke
The County of Wiltshire (Footpath 15, Byway 29 and Byway 31, Durrington) (Temporary Prohibition) Order 2017 and to close temporarily to all traffic in the interests of public
safety to enable housing development construction work to be undertaken: (a) Footpath
15 (Part), Durrington;from its junction with Byway 29, Durrington for adistance of
approximately 85m in an easterly direction; (b) Byway 29 (Part), Durrington (BOAT);
from its junction with The Packway for adistance of approximately 620m in anorthwesterly
direction; (c) Byway 31 (Part), Durrington (BOAT);from its junction with the Packway, Durrington for adistance of approximately 500m in anortherly direction. An alternative route will be clearly marked and fenced to the east of the rights of way.
The closures will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 10 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required for six months. The Order
will have amaximum duration of
