Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(A38 Sansome Walk, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of A38 Sansome Walk, Worcester, from a point 20 metres either side of the railway bridge level crossing in order to facilitate essential repairs and maintenance works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A38 Sansome Walk,A38 City Walls Road, A44 College Street, A44 Deansway, A44 Bridge Street, A44 Worcester Bridge, A44 North Parade, A44 North Quay, A449 Croft Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights Commencing: 6 July 2017.
(C2051 Withybed Lane, Inkberrow)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order Made: to close that part of C2051 Withybed Lane, Inkberrow from its junction with Stonepit Lane to its junction with A422 Worcester Road in order to facilitate new water connection works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Stonepit Lane, A422 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing:
19 June 2017.
(C2228 Pard House Lane/Shelsley Beauchamp)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2228 Pard House Lane/Shelsley Beauchamp
from its junction with B4203 Stanford Bridge to its junction with C2229 Shelsley
Beauchamp in order to facilitate carriageway pre-surfacing works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2228 Shelsley Beauchamp, C2026 Shelsley Walsh, C2026 Stanford Bridge, B4203 Stanford Bridge and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing:
10 July 2017.
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Staplow Road, Dinchall Road, Ludstock Close, Kilbury Drive, Baynham Drive and Bronsil Close, Worcester]
On 1 June 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect ofwhich will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and side of road in
Worcester: Staplow Road (west side) from its junction with Dinchall Road for a
distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and 5 metres in a southerly direction. Dinchall Road (south side) from its junction with Kilbury Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction and 8 metres in an easterly direction; from its junction with Staplow Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction: (north side) from its junction with Staplow Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction. Ludstock Close (north side) from its junction with Kilbury Drive for a distance of 11.5 metres in a westerly direction; (south side) from its junction with Kilbury Drive for a distance of 7 metres in a westerly direction. Kilbury Drive (west side) from its junction with Baynham Drive for a distance of 4 metres in a northerly and 10 metres in a southerly direction; from its junction with Ludstock Close for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction; from its junction with Dinchall Road for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction; (east side) from its junction with Dinchall Road for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction. Bronsil Close (both sides) from its junction with Baynham Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction. Baynham Drive (north side) from a point 9.5 metres from the central point of its junction with Bronsil Close for a distance of 13 metres in a north westerly direction; from its junction with Kilbury Drive for a distance of 6 metres in a westerly direction; (south side) from its junction with Bronsil Close for a distance of 11.5 metres in a north westerly direction and 10 metres in a south easterly direction; from its junction with Kilbury Drive for a distance of 6 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions
to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled
persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 22 June 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester,
WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal
office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
