(Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.64) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on Shalford Road, Rayne in the District of Braintree:
Road Description

Shalford Road, SOUTH SIDE: From a point Rayne approximately 15 metres west of its

junction with Brunwin Road, west for a distance of approximately 20 metres. Map Tile: TL725 230 revision No. 1 to be replaced with TL725 230 revision

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers, TL725 230 revision 1 to revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 16 June 2017.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Braintree Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Braintree Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with B1018 to its junction with Albert Road, a distance of approximately 49 m.

2. To temporarily suspend the parking restrictions on the above length of road as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Witham) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, on Street Parking Places and Disabled Parking

Places) Order 2004
3. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 15/06/2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in Schedule 1.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

(Grantham Avenue, Great Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grantham Avenue, Great Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chatsworth Avenue to its junction with Hardwick Close for a distance of approximately 45m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO53550531 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while breakout and replace manhole frame and cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Grantham Avenue, Chatsworth Avenue, Cuckoo Way and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
