Temporary Traffic Management Order, South Street, Bridport
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. The Order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The Order came into effect, on the
5 June 2017 and will be in place until the 30 June 2017. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
This order will enable Western Power Distribution to store spoil and materials along
with works vehicles.
The effect of the order is as follows;
[1] To impose a parking suspension from outside 63-71 South Street, Bridport between 5June 20l7and 30June20l7.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath No. W36/I0 Netherbury
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [I] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along footpath W36/10 Netherbury, from grid reference SY 476 977 to grid reference SY 485 982 a distance of approximately 1075 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 15 June 2017 for a period of
6 months. But it can be, extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
The order is required for Health and Safety reasons due to the footpath having
eroded away.
On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.
