We are seeking your views on proposals to deliver up to 315 new Service Family Accommodation at Catterick Garrison. This is proposed across two sites; Le Cateau and Breckenbrough Lane. The Le Cateau site is located to the east of Church Road and to the west of Wensleydale Road. The Breckenbrough Lane site is located to the east of Horne Road and is bisected by Breckenbrough Lane. On 26th January 2016, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) on behalf of the Ministry of Defence will be hosting a public exhibition at the Swaledale Mountain Rescue Centre, Hipswell Rd West, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3EH, between 3.00pm and 7.00pm to display their draft proposals for the development of new Service Family Accommodation. Two outline planning applications are being progressed for the Service Family Accommodation along with associated access and public open space. Both applications will be in outline with details of the means of site access and scale of development sought for approval. All other matters (appearance, layout and landscaping) are proposed to be reserved for the Reserved Matters planning application at a later date. This public exhibition is planned to provide information on the emerging proposals and give you the opportunity to review and comment on the proposals ahead of planning applications being submitted to Richmondshire District Council in the next few weeks.
