TONGE MOOR RD TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (TONGE MOOR ROAD, BOLTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITON OF LEFT TURN) (NO.77) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, the effect of which, being operative from 19 June 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic travelling northbound on Tonge Moor Road from turning left at its junction with Crompton Way. Alternative route will be via Bradshaw Brow, Bolton Rd, Lea Gate, Longsight, Hardy Mill Rd, Stitch-Mi-Lane, New Lane, Blair Lane, Winchester Way, Thicketford Rd. The Order is necessary due to gas works which will last for approximately 3 weeks and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
