Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

From the rear of 24 to the junction at the rear of 203 Craig Street
COLUMBIASTREET,NEWFOUNDLAND STREET&THE DENE BACKSTREET

ORCHARD ROAD AND BLOOMFIELD ROAD BACK STREET

HOLLYHURST ROAD WEST BACK
From its junction with Orchard Road southwards to the junction of Orchard Road and Bloomfield Road Back Street
There is no alternative route The Order is necessary to allow renewal of water mains and services. The maximum duration of the temporary closures under this Order is 18 months commencing from 19th June 2017, it is anticipated that the closures will be effective for 6 weeks.
