NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (hereinafter referred as "the Council") acting as the local traffic authority and in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order which will temporarily prohibit any person, except upon the direction of or with the permission of a police constable or civil enforcement officer in uniform, to cause any vehicle, with the exception of a vehicle belonging to the emergency services, the RNLI or Coastguard, or statutory undertakers, the Council or its contractors in connection with the execution of essential gas mains works to:-Enter, wait, load and unload in:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (hereinafter referred as "the Council") acting as the local traffic authority and in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order which will temporarily prohibit any person, except upon the direction of or with the permission of a police constable or civil enforcement officer in uniform, to cause any vehicle, with the exception of a vehicle belonging to the emergency services, the RNLI or Coastguard, or statutory undertakers, the Council or its contractors in connection with the execution of essential gas mains works to:- Enter, wait, load and unload in: Tankerville Drive from its junction with A13 London Road to its junction with Bonchurch Avenue.The temporary prohibitions imposed by the Order will come into effect on 19th June 2017. This Order shall remain in force for up to 18 months or the duration of the works, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be complete within 5 days. A diversionary route for the banned movements via A13 London Road, Kingswood Chase and Bonchurch Avenue will be in operation whilst the works take place and resident's access will be maintained where possible. Diversionary route banned movements resident's access will be maintained where possible.The restrictions are required in the interests of road safety for both members of the public and the workforce.
