(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 85 Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To formally revoke the following waiting and parking restriction on the following length of Gloucester Park Swimming Pool access road in the Borough of Basildon (paper exercise, no changes on the ground):
Road Restriction to be Description
Blake Avenue, SOUTH SIDE:
i. From a point approximately 16 metres west from its junction with The Gore in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 17 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 42 metres west from its junction with The Gore in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 28 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 116 metres west from its junction with The Gore in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 16 metres. Tile: TQ700 887 revision 3 to revision 4 Wilmott Close, Basildon

2. To revoke the existing 'Resident Parking Permit B Holders Only Mon-Sat 9AM-5PM' restrictions and replace with 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' restriction on the following length of Pomfret Mead in the Borough of Basildon:

Pomfret Mead, WEST SIDE: From a point 1.3 metres east of the Basildon rear boundary line of 26 and 28 The Gore,
eastwards for 4.5 metres. Tile: TQ700 887 revision 3 to revision 4

3. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Broadhurst Place and Blake Avenue in the Borough of Basildon:

To amend Schedule 1 (Resident Parking Areas) of The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 to include all residential properties in Ambrose Chase, Blake Avenue, Broadhurst Place, Clenshaw Path, Easton Court and Wilmot Close the residents of which will be eligible to apply for a permit.

For information the cost of a resident permit is £30.50 per year (£32 per year from 01/04/17 and £33.50 from 01/04/18), Visitor Tickets are available. Further details can be found on the Council website -http://www.chelmsford.gov.uk/basildon-residents-parking-scheme This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TQ700 885 revision 1 to revision 2, TQ695 887 revision 2 to revision 3, TQ700 887 revision 3 to revision 4. TQ695 885 revision 4 to revision 5.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 26 June 2017.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Old Church Road, Bowers Gifford) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and 3(2)and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on the following length of Old Church Road, Bowers Gifford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with London Road, southwards for approximately 204 metres.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 20 June 2017.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. 4. To introduce 'Limited Waiting Mon-Sat, 9AM-5PM, 2 hours no return in 4 hours' restrictions on the following length of Blake Avenue in the Borough of Basildon:
