Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U71610 Newtown Lane, Little Birch, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U71610 Newtown Lane bewtween Stallards Lane and School Lane OS Grid Ref: 351048 / 231925. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U7610 New road onto the U71603 Mesne Lane/Little Birch Road onto the U71609 Barrack Hill onto the U71610 Castle Nibole/ Pendant Pitch and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the repair of a burst water main and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
