Essex County Council (Green Lane, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, in the Parish of Boxted in the Borough of Colchester from a point approximately 58 metres west of the junction with Wet Lane for a distance of approximately 25 metres west.The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th June 2017 for three days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new foul sewer connection is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Birchanger Lane, A120, B1383, Birchanger Lane and vice versa. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 19th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Colchester Road, for a distance of approximately 351m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th August 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WBAUSEIBQDWKWV01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while install cable works are undertaken by BT. (Culver Street East, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of Loading Bay) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the loading bay restriction on Culver Street East, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with St Nicholas Passage to the junction with Long Wyre Street, as detailed in "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008". The suspension is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Duke Street, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wellington Street to its junction with Colne Road, a distance of approximately 244 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th June 2017 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2228616 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Colne Road, Nelson Street, Wellington Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.7) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 and The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 08/06/17, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. An alternative route is available via Balkerne Hill Northbound, Middleborough Roundabout, Westway Northbound, Colne Bank Avenue, Cymbeline Way, Spring Lane Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mersea Road, Peldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mersea Road, Peldon in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with The Strood for a distance of approximately 40 m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th June 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153543021 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Mersea Road, Peldon Rose Access Road, Colchester Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Axial Way, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of Right Turn) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the right hand turn at a point approximately 280m from the Cuckoo Farm Way Roundabout on Axial Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester. The suspension is scheduled to commence on 14th August 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (WY002NSA00015023 -Fulcrum Pipelines Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Fulcrum Pipelines Limited. The Order will come into effect on 22nd June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Margaret Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 135m south of its junction with Serpentine Walk to a point approximately 125 m East of its junction with Mercers Way, a distance of approximately 28 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th August 2017 for 29 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153454871 - Anglian Water).
