Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of Wigan
Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made
the Wigan Borough (Liscard Street)fTemporary Closure) Order 2017.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or
causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Liscard Street, Atherton at the
junction with Wigan Road from Monday 5 June 2017 for five days.
The alternative route for traffic is: - Wigan Road - Mealhouse Lane - Bag Lane -
Market Street - Leigh Road
The Order is necessary to allow Electricity joint bay and overlay works.
Buchanan Street - Temporary Closure Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Buchanan Street)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Buchanan Street, Leigh at the junction with Doming Street during the period of Sunday 9 July 2017 for one day. The alternative route for traffic is:- Eyet Street - Railway Road - Bengal Street The Order is necessary to allow repair works on manhole frame and cover
Stanley Street - Temporary Closure Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Stanley Street)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Stanley Street, Leigh at the junction with victoria Street during the period of Sunday 30 July 2017 for one day. The alternative route for traffic is: - Victoria Street - Westminster Street -Warrington Road
The Order is necessary to carry out carriageway repair work.
