NOTICE OF MAKING
(Dean Road, Hall Road, Hallwood Road & Hereford Drive, Handforth) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that on the 1st June 2017 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 9th June 2017, will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths and sides of roads in Handforth:-

Dean Road (West side) - From a point 21 metres northwest of its junction with Hallwood Road for a distance of 42 metres in a south­easterly direction.
Hallwood Road (Both sides) - From its junction with Dean Road for
a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction.
Hall Road (Both sides) - From its junction with Dean Road for a
distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction.
Hall Road (North side) - From a point 10 metres west of its junction
with Hereford Drive for a distance of 26 metres in an easterly
direction; From a point 48 metres east of its junction with Hereford
Drive for a distance of 93 metres in an easterly direction; From a
point its junction with Woodlands Road for a distance of 49 metres
in a north westerly.
Hall Road (South side) - From its junction with Woodlands for a distance of 44 metres in a north westerly direction. Hereford Drive (Both sides) - From its junction with Hall Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
2. A copy of the Order, a map showing the restricted area, a statement of reasons for making the order, a copy of this public notice and a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order may be examined during the usual office hours at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council at Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach CW11 1HZ and at the and at the Handforth Public Library.

3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
