Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Oxford, Observatory Street Temporary Suspension of Parking Bays and Disabled Persons' Parking Bay Date of Order: 12 June 2017 Coming into force: 20 June 2017 This Order is being introduced to allow deliveries of materials to the construction site at Belsyre Court, Observatory Street, which is anticipated to be for four months. The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend in Observatory Street:
This Order is being introduced to allow deliveries of materials to the construction site at Belsyre Court, Observatory Street, which is anticipated to be for four months. The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend in Observatory Street:
1) The three, two hour parking bays on the northwestern side; from a point 48 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Adelaide Street, northeastwards for a distance of 42 metres.
2) One of the two Disabled Persons' Parking Bays located outside Belsyre Court on the north-western side, north-east of the suspended parking bays.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the prohibition is in force.
Exemptions are included for police, fire and ambulance services and for the works.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner
The City of Oxford (Jericho) (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2000 (as amended) and The Oxfordshire County Council (Disabled Persons' Parking Places - Oxford) Order 2002 (as amended), as far as they affect Observatory Street, Oxford, will be suspended for the duration of theTemporaryTraffic Regulation Order.
