ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BURY OLD ROAD SERVICE ROAD, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enahling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:- Bury Old Road Service Road - Temporary Road Closure. From its junction with Polefield Approach, for the full length of the Service Road The reason for the proposed order is to enable the reinstatement of the carriageway. The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday - 19 June 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 2 months (between approx 9.00am and 5.00pm) anticipated duration of the works is 14 days.
