TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (HAWKSLEY STREET AND ABERNETHY STREET) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) (NO.81) ORDER 2017 The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the effect of which, being operative from 26 June 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Hawksley Street and/or Abernethy Street, both from Chorley New Rd to Back Chorley New Rd. Alternative route will be via Victoria Rd. The Order is necessary due to watercourse diversion works which will last for approximately 2 months and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
