(SALTERFORTH ROAD AND EARBY ROAD, EARBY, PENDLE BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice. 1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of highway in the Borough of Pendle. i. Salterforth Road from to its junction with A56 Colne Road to its junction with Kenilworth Drive. ii. Earby Road from its junction with Warwick Drive to its junction with B6383 Kelbrook Road. 2. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0600 hours to 1700 on Tuesday 6th June 2017 until Thursday 6th July 2017 or until completion of the works within this period. 3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- A56 Colne Road – B6383 Kelbrook Road and vice versa The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow surface dressing works to be carried out.
