(SALTERFORD LANE AND ORMEROD STREET, CLIVIGER, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice. 1.No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of Salterford Lane and Ormerod Street in the Borough of Burnley. i. Salterford Lane from its junction with Red Lees Road to its junction with Hurstwood Lane ii. Ormerod Street from its junction with Hurstwood Lane to its junction with Stoneycroft 2. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0600 to 1700 hours from Tuesday 13th June 2017 until Thursday 13th July 2017 or until completion of the works within this period. 3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- Brownside Road – Brunshaw Road – Red Lees Road and vice versa The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow surface dressing works to be carried out.
