Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the A438 The Homend and C1308 Bye Street, Ledbury, Herefordshire, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: A438 the Homend, Ledbury, Herefordshire. Grid Ref: from 371091/237696-371027/237845. C1308 Bye Street, Ledbury, Herefordshire. Grid Ref: 370989/237694 371068/237726. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A438 onto the A449 The Southend then onto the A417 towards Leadon Way continue on the A417 Leadon Way to the A438 Hereford Road then on the The Homend and visa versa. The said closure is required due resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 5th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days/nights.
