LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (IGHTENHILL PARK LANE AND CLIFTON ROAD, BURNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.

1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of highway in the Borough of Burnley. i. Ightenhill Park Lane from its junction with A671 Padiham Road to its junction with Arkwright Street.
ii. Clifton Road from its junction with Ightenhill Park Lane to its junction with Lark Street

2. The prohibition will be operative from 0900 hours on Monday 19th June 2017 until 1700 hours on Wednesday 28th June 2017 or until completion of the works within this period.

3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- Diversion 1 (Ightenhill Park Lane) Arkwright Street – Romford Street – A671 Padiham Road and vice versa Diversion 2 (Clifton Road) A671 Padiham Road – Mitchell Street – Tabor Street – Clifton Road and vice versa The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow utility works to be carried out.
