Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the A449 Junction with Cut Throat Lane, Ledbury, Herefordshire, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road : A449 Junction with Cut Throat Lane, Ledbury, Herefordshre. Grid Ref: from 372083/238467-371913/238406. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A438 towards Hollybush then onto the B4208 towards Staunton onto the A417 towards Ledbury then onto the A449 and visa versa. The said closure is required due resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days/nights.
