GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE 3/181 OLD TETBURY ROAD CIRENCESTER COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order to temporarily close under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of 3/181 OldTetbury Road at the Pedestrian Crossing between Castle Street and Old Tetbury Road, a total distance of approximately 0.1 kilometres The reason for the closure is to relay blocks in the carriageway
The following No Entry restriction from Dollar Street into Thomas Street shall be suspended throughout the duration of the works:- "The Regulation of Traffic (Cirencester) Order 1941" The road is expected to be closed for one day only on the 18th June 2017 or until the works have been completed. Via A429 Bristol Road, A429 Swindon Road, A435 Grove Lane, 3/100 Spitalgate Lane, 3/180 Dollar Street 3/180 Gosditch Street Access toThomas Street, The Mead, Coxwell Street, Cecily Hill, Park Street, Park Lane, Silver Street and Black Jack Street will be via Thomas Street, controlled by temporary three way lights. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road and emergency access will be maintained.

NOTICE OF MAKING OF A DIVERSION ORDER, EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATHS BLE44, BLE39, BFA37 AND BLE 38) (PARISH OF LECHLADEAND FAIRFORD) DIVERSION AND EXTINGUISHMENT ORDERS 2017
The above Orders made on the 17th May 2017 under Section 119 and Section 118 ofthe HighwaysAct 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed, will divert and extinguish the lengths of Public Footpaths described in Part 1 of the Schedule hereto to the line described in Part 2 of the said Schedule. A copy of the Orders and plans attached to the Order (the "Order Plan") may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG, Cotswold District Council, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1PX. Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be obtained free of charge (please quote reference BLE/44/39/38 & BFA 37/MBT). Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Lead Officer, Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG not later than the 29th June 2017. That length of footpath BLE 39 in the Parish of Lechlade that commences on the parish boundary marked G atOSGR SU1854/9947 in a southerlydirection for 174 metres to its junction with footpath BLE 38 at a point marked H at OSGR SU1854/9930 and being shown bya bold continuous line and having a width of 2 metres. The area of highway to be stopped up fronts the property of Juniper House, Elkstone, Cheltenham, GL53 9PD and is part of unclassified highway 40865 in the parish of Elkstone. The land is generally rectangular in shape and forms a total area of approximately 35.5 square metres. It measures approximately 8.5m on its western edge, 8.6m on its eastern edge, 4.0m on its southern edge and 5.0m on its northern edge, and is shown crosshatched on the drawing number TA238b.
