ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984-SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A43 TRUNK ROAD (ARDLEY TO ROTHERSTHORPE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the A43 Trunk Road, in the Counties of Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, to allow cyclical maintenance works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close at different times -
a) any slip road leading to or from the northbound carriageway of the A43, between its roundabout junction with the B430 and the slip roads leading to and from the northbound carriageway of the M40 (Junction 10) at Ardley, and its roundabout junction with the slip road leading to the northbound carriageway of the M1 (Junction 15a) at Rothersthorpe; and b) any layby adjacent to the length of the A43 described at a) above.

The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 12 June 2017 and continue for 10 days. The Order will come into force on 5 June 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
