Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Sunnyside Road, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: Sunnyside Road (west) (both sides) from its junction with Sunnyside Road (north) and St George's Walk for a distance of 12 metres in a westerly direction. Sunnyside Road (north) (west side) from its junction with Sunnyside Road (west) for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Order made: to close that part of Bestmans Lane, Kempsey from its junction with A38 Main Road to its junction with U60002 Napleton Lane in order to facilitate drainage works to alleviate carriageway flooding.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
