OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Upper Heyford,Allens Lane - Footpath Closure Date of Order: 30 May 2017 Coming into force: 3 June 2017 This Order is being introduced because of railway bridge repair works which are anticipated to take 3 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath 388/6 west of Allens Lane, beneath the rail line beside the River Cherwell. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property/ premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath.
Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure is via Footpaths 388/2, 388/3, 289/8, 364/7, 364/6 and 296/10 (towards Lower Heyford and Steeple Aston). This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner
