ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
THE A1(M) MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 49) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE IS Hereby GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the A1(M) Motorway, in the District of Harrogate, to enable resurfacing, lining, cats eye, loop cutting and general maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Monday 5 June 2017 for 4 nights, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close the A1(M) northbound exit slip road at Junction 49 (Dishforth Interchange). During the closure a suitably signed alternative route will be available at all times. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 4 June 2017 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
