NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981, SECTION 53
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY OF COUNTY DURHAM
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY (PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 211 CROOK AND NO's 121 & 196 WITTON LE WEAR PARISH) MODIFICATION ORDER NO. 3 2017
The above Order made on 25 May 2017 if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement by adding to it Public Bridleways No. 211 Crook and 121 and 196 Witton le Wear Parish commencing from a point at the end of Railway Street, Howden le Wear and proceeding in an overall southerly direction along a track past Victoria Bungalow 20 and 10 Victoria, Victoria Farm and along the west side of Engineman's Terrace to the crossing of the Weardale Railway at Wear Valley Junction, joining unclassified road 41.27.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be viewed free of charge at County Hall, Durham Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, via the council website and also at Crook Library during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may also be bought there at the price of £1.15. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Loraine Holding, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL, no later than 12 July 2017. Any such representation or objection must state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections to the Order are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council of Durham may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
