ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WARBURTON ROAD
THE POOLE (WARBURTON ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 1017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and County of (ho Town ol Poo'o. the Highway Authority, if satisfied that traffic on the said Read should be prohibited and has nude an Order in exercise ol Us powers under The Highways Act 1990, The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulsticirs 1996 proposes to make an Order, the effect ol which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along Warburton Road, including the cul-de-sacs affected by the works.
Frontagers and Emergency Services will be ghen precise details of the closure dates in due course by the Contractor. Residents will be informed by letter nearer the time ol the proposed work wiith further details. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated on a one-off basis. There will be access provided for residents where practicable. The phased closure Is required for carriageway sealing.
The proposed Order Is elective between Monday 19 June 2017 and Tuesday 20 June 2017 from 8.30am until 5pm. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue In force for the statutory period of eighteen months if required.

If the works are not completed wrthii the statutory period the Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of Sate for Transport.

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Order wil be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
