Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1234 from Bagwylldiart to Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Hill Cottage OS Grid Ref: 341724 / 227533. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U74007 Llanithago Road onto the C1239 onto the B4347 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
