Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, | as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1206 From C1205 To Crossway, Michaelchurch Escley, Temporary Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1206 From C1205 To Crossway, Michaelchurch Escley, from the junction | with the C1205 to Corn Mill Cottage. Grid Ref: 331469 / 234488. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1205 toward Longtown onto the C1213 onto the B4347 onto

the C1209 onto the C1206 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to drainage works | and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th of June 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
