Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1072 Duke Street, Kington Temporary Closure Order 2017 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction of Love Lane for approximately 50 meters West OS Grid Ref: 329890 / 256728. The alternative | route for those affected by the proposal is via Victoria Road onto the A44 onto Headbrook onto Bridge Street and vice versa. The said closure is required due to access to an underground structure for cable works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 25th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), | but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
