Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1273 Hole-in-the Wall, Ross on Wye, Temporary Closure Order 2017
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1273 Hole-in-the Wall from Lyndor Cottage to The Gatehouse OS Grid Ref: 361092 / 228727. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1283 Gatsford Lane onto the A449 onto the B4224 onto the C1262 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
