(CHINNOR, MILL LANE) (PROHIBITION OF MOTORVEHICLES) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. As a result of the development of adjacent land, Mill Lane is being closed to motor traffic at its crossroads junction with the Thame Road/Station Road/ Lower Road. A new T-junction with Thame Road is being created approximately 60 metres to the northwest with this new road going southwards to Mill Lane. The proposal therefore is to introduce a 10 metre section ofrealigned road that prevents the use by motor vehicles at the eastern end of Mill Lane in favour of pedestrians and cyclists. There will be exemptions for emergency services, works to the highway and utilities and for essential services.

The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
