Essex County Council (Footpath 1B, 11,14,19, Byway 8,13,16, 30 and Bridleway 17, 28, Foulness (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
to temporarily close that length of Footpath 1B, 11, 14, 19, Byway 8, 13, 16, 30 and Bridleway 17, 28, Foulness in the District of Rochford as specified:

Footpath Description
Footpath 1B, Foulness From its junction with Byway 8 (Fisherman's Head) to Shelford Head. Byway 8, Foulness From White City to Fisherman's Head. Footpath 11, Foulness From its junction with Footpath 25 to its junction with Bridleway 28 (The Broomway). Byway 13, Foulness From Churchend to its junction with Bridleway 28 (The Broomway). Footpath 14, Foulness From its junction with Byway 13 to its junction with Byway 16 Bridleway 17, Foulness From its junction with Byway 13 to the Spine Road. Byway 16, Foulness From its junction with Bridleway 28 to its junction with Byway 30. Footpath 19, Foulness From Shelford Head to its junction with Byway 16. Bridleway 28, Foulness From its junction with Byway 8 (Fisherman's Head) to its junction with Byway 16. Byway 30, Foulness From its junction with Byway 16 to Wakering Stairs. The closures are scheduled to commence overnight between 5 June 2017 and 6 October 2017 between the hours of 18:00h and 07:00h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while trials are undertaken on the MOD Shoeburyness Range. Closures will also commence under MOD Byelaws and will be as signed on site. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Hawkswood Road, Downham in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with South Hanningfield Road for a distance of approximately 598 m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CB1W00000EA3FEW14V2 - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Dowsett Lane, Downham Road, School Road, Sudbury Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 7th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Central Avenue, Canvey Island)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Central Avenue, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 40 m southwest from its junction with Thomas Drive, for a distance of approximately 21 m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st July 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0071000594724 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. An alternative route is available via Church Parade, Thomas Drive,Central Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 31st July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(High Street, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of High Street, Wickford in the District of Basildon, from its junction with Station Avenue to its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 323m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th June 2017 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2223759 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repairs works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Street, London Road, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Runwell Road, The Broadway and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 125m south of its junction with Dalwood Gardens for a distance of approximately 102 m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th June 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD037RO53421764 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replace man hole frame and cover carriageway (between 1900 to 0000 hrs) works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Daws Heath Road, Rectory Road, London Road, High Street, Chapel Lane, Rayleigh Road, Western Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 1st June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 25/05/2017
