Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order to temporarily close under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of 407141 Black Jack Street from outside The Coln Gallery, a tota distance of approximately 30 metres. The reason for the closure is for ferrule exchange footway. The road is expected to be closed on 12th June 2017 until 16th June 2017 or until the works have been completed. The reason for the 40mph and 30mph speed restriction on A433 is to protect event vehicles entry/exit, to protect general public and workforce. Parking restrictions on side roads adjacent to Westonbirt Village and Bowldown Road (Hare & Hounds) to discourage pedestrian drop off/pick up and resulting traffic congestion at these areas.
