ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the council has made orders under section 14 of the road traffic regulation act 1984. FARNWORTH ROAD AND GREENALL AVENUE. PENKETH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be to Introduce a Temporary Prohibition and Clearway on:-
Famworth Road - From A562 Widnes Road roundabout to Stocks Lane.
Greenall Avenue - From its junction with Farnworth Road for 50m in a northerly direction.
The Order will be effective from Saturday 3rd June 2017 for 3 weekends. The closures are expected to be in operation on Saturday between 6pm - 12am and Sunday 8am - 12am as and when signed on site. The restrictions and closures are required to undertake carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative routes will be:-
Widnes Road roundabout via A562 Widnes Road and Warrington Road.
Stocks Lane via Warrington Road, Tavistock Road, Barnstaple Way, Honiton Way, Greystone Road and A562 Warrington Road/Widnes Road.
Tavistock Road via Stocks Lane, Meeting Lane, Greystone Road and A562 Warrington Road/Widnes Road. Ref: HIGH/1739
A57 SANKEY WAY AND ADJACENT STREETS. GREAT SANKEY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Prohibition and Clearway on:-
Phase 1: AS7 Sankey Way - From A562 Penketh Road roundabout toA57 Liverpool Road
Phase 2: A57 Liverpool Road - From A57 Sankey Way to Brook Way Phase 3: Whittle Avenue - From A57 Sankey Way to the roundabout at Tankersley Grove.
The Order will be effective from Monday 5th June 2017 for 6 weeks between the hours of 7pm - 12am as and when signed on site. The restrictions and closures are required to undertake highway improvement works, including kerbing, drainage, associated footway and carriageway surfacing. Works are to undertaken in phases as detailed above. The alternative routes will be:
Phase 1: Via A57 Sankey Way (eastbound), Cromwell Avenue,
Westbrook Way, Whittle Avenue and Lingley Green Avenue
Phase 2: Via Lingley Green Avenue, Whittle Avenue, Westbrook Way,
Cromwell Avenue and A57 Sankey Way (westbound)
Phase 3: Via Whittle Avenue, Lingley Green Avenue and A57 Liverpool
Road and vice versa.

KATHERINES WAY, WARRINGTON) (ONE-WAY) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1,2, and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all motor vehicles from proceeding along the length of road specified in Column 1 of the Schedule in any direction other than that as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule. WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (CLIFF LANE UNCLASSIFIED.GRAPPENHALL) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 84 and Part FV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers on 23rd May 2017. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on the restricted road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 1 below to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 1. The Order will be effective from 1 st June 2017. A copy of the Order and Statement of the Council's Reason tor making the Order, together with plans of the restricted areas, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 23rd May 2017, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

RIGHT TURNS, LEFT TURN, ONE-WAY TRAFFIC AND ENTRY) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and of all other enabling powers to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 23rd May 2017. The effect of the Order is as follows:-
TO PROHIBIT ALL VEHICLES FROM MAKING A U-TURN ON: The northbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road to make a U-Turn at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way, so as to proceed in the opposite direction in the southbound carriageway. The southbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road to make a U-Turn at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way, so as to proceed in the opposite direction in the northbound carriageway. TO PROHIBIT ALL VEHICLES FROM MAKING A RIGHT TURN ON: The northbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way so as to proceed in a north easterly direction on the south westbound spur of Charon Way. The south westbound spur of Charon Way at its most southerly junction with Burtonwood Road, so as to proceed in a northerly direction on Burtonwood Road. TO PROHIBIT ALL VEHICLES FROM MAKING A LEFT TURN ON: The southbound carriageway of Burtonwood Road at the junction of the south westbound spur of Charon Way, so as to proceed in a north easterly direction on the south westbound spur of Charon Way. INTRODUCTION OF ONE-WAY: To prohibit all motor vehicles proceeding along the section of Charon Way from its junction with the roundabout at the M62 Junction 8, for a distance of 115 metres in any direction other than easterly. To prohibit all motor vehicles proceeding along the section of Charon Way between its junction with Burtonwood Road and a point 145 metres north east of Burtonwood Road in any direction other than south westerly.
