OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BRIGHTWELL-CUM-SOTWELL) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 22 May 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order - which comes into force on 03 June 2017 - is to replace the existing 30 mph speed limit throughout the village roads south of High Road with 20mph. The new limit will terminate in the east at the Slade End junction with the A4130,and in the west in Didcot Road at a point 295 metres east of the A4130. The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Parish) Order 1999 is revoked/replaced. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30pm weekdays; and at Wallingford Library, High Street, OX10 0DB, from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday, Tuesday & Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday, and from 9.30am to 1pm Saturday.
