Liscard Street - Temporary Closure Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Director of Infrastructure of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Liscard Street) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Liscard Street at the junction with Wigan Road commencing on Monday 5 June 2017 for a period of five days. The alternative route for traffic is:- Wigan Road -Mealhouse Lane - Bag Lane - Market Street -Leigh Road.
The Order is necessary to allow Electricity joint bay and overlay works.
Buchanan Street - Temporary Closure Notice of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Buchanan Street) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Buchanan Street at the junction with Doming Street on Sunday 9 July 2017 for one day.
The alternative route for traffic is:- Eyet Street -
Railway Road - Bengal Street.
The Order is necessary to allow repair work to
manhole frame and cover.
