M25 MOTORWAY (JUNCTIONS 12-15) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an order on the M25 Motorway in the Counties of Surrey and Buckinghamshire, the London Borough of Hillingdon, and the Unitary Authorities of Slough and Windsor & Maidenhead, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the phased closure of:
(a) both carriageways of the M25 between the exit and entry link roads at Junction 12 (M3 Junction 2);
(b) the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between the exit and entry slip roads at Junction 13 (A30);
(c) all of the link roads connecting both carriageways of the M25 to and from both carriageways of the M3 Motorway at Junction 12 (M3 Junction 2);
(d) all of the slip/link roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 13 (A30);
(e) all of the slip/link roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 14 (A3113);
(f) all the roads connecting both carriageways of the M25 to and from both carriageways of the M4 Motorway at Junction 15 (M4 Junction 4B);
(g) all of the link roads connecting to both carriageways of the M25 Heathrow Terminal spur road at Junction 14 (A3113); and
(h) both carriageways of the Heathrow Terminal 5 spur road at Junction 14 (A3113);
These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake Advanced Motorway Indicator sign repairs. It is expected that the work would occur in two phases:-
The closures described in (a) - (f) inclusive would take place from 12 June 2017 for approximately 3 weeks. The closures described in (g) - (h) would take place from 25 July 2017 for approximately 3 days.
All closures would take place on:-Monday - Thursday nights between 22:00 to 05:30; and Friday nights between 23:00 to 06:00. The Order would come into force on 10 June 2017 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
Traffic affected by the closures in (a) - (g) above would be diverted using other junctions on the M25, and the M3, M4 and M40. The diversion in operation would vary according to the closure in force. Traffic affected by the closure in (h) above would be diverted using Western Perimeter Road, Nelson Road, Bath Road, Stanwell Moor Road and Airport Way. The closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period. M Taylor, an Official of Highways England Co Ltd.
