Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under it's relevant powers, have made the A4111 Kingswood towards Cemetery Bends, HEREFORDSHIRE, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the following road:A4111 FROM A44 TO APOSTLES LANE, KINGTON, HEREFORDSHIRE, HEREFORDSHIRE. Grid Ref: from 329594/253869 - 330203/254794. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A4111 towards Kington onto the A44 toward Golden Cross onto the A4112 then onto the A4111 towards Eardisley and visa versa. The said closure is required due resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st May 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
