Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1117 From Pencombe To Gasbage, Pencombe Temporary Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1117 From Pencombe To Gasbage, Pencombe, from the junction with the C1114 to the junction with Gasbage. Grid Ref: 360215/251961 to 359913/252716. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1114 onto Gasbage and vice versa. The said closure is required due to water mains renewal and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th of June 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be | completed within 10 weeks.
