Proposed Order: to close that part of Church Terrace, Worcester from its junction with Blakefield Gardens to its junction with Church Terrace in order to facilitate streetlighting works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other formofaccess;andtoallowtheworkstobeundertaken. No alternative route available.

(CityofWorcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (WaitingRestrictionsand StreetParkingPlaces) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Middle Street and Southfield Street, Worcester] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting atanytime on the followinglengthsand sidesofroads in Worcester:
Middle Street (both sides) from its junction with Southfield Street for a distance of 5.7 metres in a north westerly direction. Southfield Street (north west side)
from its junction with Middle Street for a distance of 3.7 metres in a north easterly direction. TheOrder will varytheaboveConsolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. On 4 May Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking place on the following length and side ofroad in Worcester:
Gheluvelt Park/Lavender Road (south side) from a point 48.6 metres west of its junction with A449 Ombersley Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a westerly direction (outside No. 4). TheOrder will varytheaboveConsolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. The Order will come into operation on 25 May2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The
Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
