Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order:

C1160 From B4220 To Fox Hill, Bosbury Temporary Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1160 From B4220 To Fox Hill, Bosbury, from the junction with the C1159 to the junction with Broad Croft Road. Grid Ref : 368270 / 245326 to 368673 / 245397. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Broad Croft Road onto the C1159 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to water mains renewal and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of May 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
