Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U93215 Fields Place Lane, Dilwyn Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Windsor Cottage OS Grid Ref: 341653 / 254027. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1091 Venmore Lane | onto the C1092 Sandpits to Alton Cross Road onto the C1093 from A4110 to Gad Bridge and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the repair of a burst water main and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th June 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
