Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, | as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U80112 Old Eign Hill, Hereford Temporary Closure Order 2017 to
temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Martha Trust House OS Grid Ref: 352995 / 239419. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4224 Hampton Park Road onto the C1127 Vineyard Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the transfer of an existing water service to an alternative main and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 29th May 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed | within 3 days.
